DPRK party and government delegation returns home
July 13, 2026The party and government delegation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea led by Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, vice-president of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, returned home by the private plane on July 12 after paying an official visit to the People’s Republic of China and participating in the event marking the 65th anniversary of the conclusion of the DPRK-China Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance.
It was greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by Kim Tok Hun, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and first vice-premier of the Cabinet, An Hyon Min, deputy department director of the WPK Central Committee, Kim Son Gyong, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, and the charge d'affaires ad interim of the Chinese embassy in Pyongyang and staff members of the embassy.
Earlier, the delegation leaving Beijing was seen off at the airport by Wu Zhenglong, member and secretary-general of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yajun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, Hua Chunying, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the PRC, and Ri Ryong Nam, DPRK ambassador to China, and staff members of the embassy.
