Warmaniacs hell-bent on expanding territory in Middle East

July 16, 2026

The international community is raising its voice against Israel for being hell-bent on killing in the Middle East.

An independent investigation committee of the UN recently branded the Israeli forces’ act as a massacre, asserting that about 30 percent of the dead in the Gaza Strip are children. The committee said that at least 20 179 children under 18 have been killed and 44 143 others injured in the Gaza Strip in two years since October 7 2023 when the battle began between Israel and the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), adding that Israel is "intentionally targeting children".

Arab countries including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Jordan denounced Israel for the invasion of Syria.

The Foreign Ministry of Qatar in a statement said that Israel's invasion of Syria and military attacks on different regions of the country are an undisguised encroachment upon its sovereignty and a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law, urging the international community to fulfil its responsibility to check such atrocities.

The secretary-general of the Gulf Cooperation Council reaffirmed its stand to cooperate with Syria and resolutely reject any offences encroaching upon its sovereignty or threatening its security, saying that Israel's repeated attacks are dangerous acts of aggravating the situation which escalate tension and hinder the regional and international efforts to achieve peace.

But Israel claims that more than one-third of the Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip are "terrorists" and that there are no civilians in the area and those above three years of age are "terrorists". It also insists that its military attacks on Syria are aimed at protecting the Druse in Syria.

However, this is nothing but sophism to justify its atrocities.

The real purpose of Israel is to trample on the future of Palestine and annex its whole territory by targeting even its children, and to gradually expand the flames of war it started in the Gaza Strip even to such neighbouring countries as Lebanon and Syria and thus dominate the Middle East.

For example, the Israeli minister of finance declared last mid-February that Israel would "tighten control over all our territories" while talking about a "settlement revolution" in the West Bank. In June last year, the Israeli foreign minister in a diplomatic meeting in East Al-Quds openly said that the Golan Heights in Syria would remain part of the State of Israel in any peace deal to be struck in the future.

Israel, dead set on undisguised aggression and an indiscriminate war of genocide for territorial expansion, is fully revealing before the international community its true colours as the wrecker of peace in the Middle East.
