Young people in Kaesong Municipality have volunteered for worksites of socialist construction.

An official of a primary organization of the youth league volunteered to work at a farm.

Other youths and youth league members vowed to work at construction brigades, farms and raw materials base stations, out of the desire to contribute to national prosperity and regional development.

A meeting was held at the municipal cultural hall on July 15 to congratulate the volunteers.

Present there were Pak Song Chol, chief secretary of the Kaesong Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league, youth and students.

Certificates of volunteering were awarded to the volunteers and a congratulatory address and other speeches were made at the meeting.

After a congratulatory performance, officials, youth and students saw the volunteers off, presenting bouquets to them.
