The Egyptian embassy in Pyongyang hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club on July 22 on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the July 23 revolution in Egypt.

Present there at invitation were Jong Tong Hak, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, officials concerned and members of the diplomatic corps in the DPRK.

Mohamed Hassan Abbas el Mahdi, charge d'affaires ad interim of the Egyptian embassy, and his staff members were on hand.

Speeches were made at the reception.

The participants in the reception wished Comrade Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and H.E. Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, good health.
