Islamic countries criticize Israel’s recklessness

July 30, 2026

Foreign ministers of eight Islamic countries including Pakistan, Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates issued a joint statement on July 24 to strongly denounce Israelis’ intrusion into the Al-Aqsa Mosque in East al-Quds, Palestine.

Saying that Israel’s violence against the mosque is getting more serious under the protection of its army and under the control of its extreme politicians, the statement noted that the reckless act of Israel is a wanton violation of international law and UN resolutions and an infringement on the historical and legal position of the mosque.

It demanded that Israel lift access restrictions on al-Quds and the mosque and ensure Muslims’ free visit to them.
