The summer aesthetic symposium in the field of land and environment protection-2026 took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in Pyongyang through video conferencing on July 29.

Attending it were officials and scientists from relevant sectors including land and environment protection, urban management, industrial design and education.

The symposium was held on the theme of "Let us turn all mountains into beautiful and useful ones". Screened there was a video dealing with the achievements made in afforestation.

The speakers referred to the ways to ensure the scenic beauty and economic efficiency of forests.

They expressed their determination to fulfil their responsibility and duty in attaining a long-term goal and carrying out phased plans for afforestation and forest conservation.
