The Komdok Mining Complex, which is bringing about a new turning point in its development, was selected as one of the top ten enterprises of 2025.

It reduced operation cost by 20 percent and increased productivity over two times as compared to previously by refashioning the ore transport system. This is a remarkable change effected by the enterprise in recent years.

The leading nonferrous mineral producer of the country has increased production every year and could become one of the top ten enterprises thanks to the great creative and executive abilities of its officials.

Three years ago, the complex had a tough assignment. At that time, the officials found the way to carry out its plan in pulling down the big heaps of ore which had long been accumulated at the bunker of an ore-dressing plant.

Such attempt had been made several times before, but the bunker was inaccessible to vehicles.

In order to solve the problem, the mine mapped out a new plan for pulling down the heaps of ore in the bunker, built a road leading to it and made it possible to effectively use transport means.

Thus, the complex increased production 1.6 times in 2023 and also achieved a remarkable production growth in 2024 and 2025.

When the complex was faced with the task of overhauling a vertical shaft in the deep pit area in October last year, officials scrupulously organized work to shorten the overhaul period and at the same time pushed ahead with the development of a pit face by finding a high-grade ore deposit and thereby carried out the national economic plan for 2025 and the overhaul and opened up a bright prospect for production for this year.

Its officials and workers are now making strenuous efforts for the successful fulfilment of its national economic plan by dint of fresh innovation, bold creation and steady advance.
