The Nampho Schoolchildren's Palace was built wonderfully and inaugurated in the sports village area of Waudo District, Nampho Municipality.

With the construction of the palace furnished with various rooms, including the foreign language group room, the program development group room and the accordion group room, and the comprehensive sports, cultural and welfare facilities, an extracurricular education base has been provided to train schoolchildren to be competent talents with versatile knowledge and high cultural attainments.

An inauguration ceremony of the palace took place on the spot on August 2.

Present there were So Chang Ryol, chief secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials and builders in the municipality, teaching staff of the palace and schoolchildren.

At the end of the ceremony the participants went round various places of the palace.
