The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Pok Sun, a centenarian living in neighbourhood unit No. 2, Songil-ri of Sunan District in Pyongyang.

She extended her gratitude to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for sending the birthday spread to her, an ordinary old woman.

Born into a poor peasant family before liberation of the country, she lived in grief of statelessness. After national liberation she devoted her sweat and efforts to farming for decades with a single mind to uphold the Workers’ Party of Korea with increased grain production.

All the villagers respect her for bringing up her children to be pillars of the country and positively doing good things for the country even after she became a pensioner.

Officials of the Sunan District Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea congratulated her and her family on the auspicious event and encouraged all her descendants to fulfill their responsibility and duty like the centenarian.
