The Unsan Paper Mill, which was newly built according to the Workers’ Party of Korea’s Regional Development 20×10 Policy, has further consolidated its production foundation.

The factory is pushing on a full scale the remodelling of equipment for enhancing its production capacity and the project for setting up a process for the production of a new product.

The factory is promoting the project for expanding its capacity with the main stress on producing diverse products with locally-abundant raw materials while constantly developing the Korean-style method and technique of making paper.

After finishing different construction projects in dozens of days, it made and installed new equipment, which can remarkably increase the actual output ratio in the pulp production process, by means of technical innovation. Now it is accelerating the installation of various kinds of sensors and the making and introduction of new devices in close contact with a scientific research unit.
