Myongsasimni Railway Station has modernly been built, adding to the beauty of the Wonsan Kalma Coastal Tourist Area to which an endless stream of happy tourists flows, under the loving care of the Workers’ Party of Korea which is determined to provide the people with a brighter, more affluent new life, a new civilization.

The station building with a total floor space of some 7 000 square metres was built in a unique architectural style to preserve the features of the coastal tourist town. It is furnished in a serviceable way in keeping with its mission, functions and use for ensuring travel for tourism. It is a standard of regional railway station.

It has all features and conditions as a wonderful tourist railway station. It is the precious fruition of devoted service for the people of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who finds his greatest joy in their happiness and takes the greatest delight in serving them, and another valuable asset for them.

An inaugural ceremony of the railway station took place on August 27.

It was attended by Pak Hun, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Hwang Man Bok, chairman of the Kangwon Provincial People’s Committee, officials concerned, officials of the rail transport sector and working people, youth and students in the province.

Kim Ha Gyu, minister of Railways, delivered an inaugural address.

After the ceremony was over, the participants looked round the station.
