Universities buzz with scientific research for implementing regional development policy

Different universities are making positive efforts to make various modern facilities for regional-industry factories under construction.

The researchers of Kim Il Sung University completed the stylus of a conductometer needed in making a general milk analyser and are working to solve technical problems arising in the creation of a control program and equipment assembly.

They are pushing ahead at the final stage with a research project for producing higher quality soap with the cottonseed oil produced in Unchon County by introducing a new oil refining technology and oil hydrogenation device at the already built Unchon County Daily Necessities Factory.

Kim Chaek University of Technology and Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering are making different kinds of pumps, crushers, tenoners and other facilities to be used by city and county regional-industry factories in cooperation with technicians of the Anju Pump Factory and the Pyongyang Textile Machine Factory.

While directing efforts to research into the improvement of the storage safety of products, Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry selected excellent lecturers and researchers for training skilled workers at regional-industry factories and has offered hundreds of employees efficient sessions for passing on advanced techniques.

Lecturers and researchers of Pyongyang University of Publishing and Printing Industry developed a Korean-style printing facility to fully solve the problem of ink jet control and perfected major devices.

The University of Sciences, Pyongyang University of Architecture and others are also conducting scientific research to solve urgent problems arising in implementing the regional development policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
