The final match of the basketball tournament of officials of ministries and national agencies-2026 took place at the Basketball Gymnasium on Chongchun Street in Pyongyang on September 3.

The tournament which started on August 18 brought together the units under the Cabinet. The teams of the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection advanced to the final stage of the tournament which was held on a knock-out basis.

Among the audience were Pak Jong Gun, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the State Planning Commission, officials concerned and officials of ministries and national agencies.

The first place in the tournament was taken by the team of the State Planning Commission. The team of the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection came second and the Ministry of Railways team third.

After the final match, the rotating pennant and trophy cup were awarded to the successful team and players.
