Officials and members of the women's union had a story-telling meeting "The Motherland and I" at the Hall of Women in Pyongyang on September 7 to celebrate the 78th founding anniversary of the DPRK.

Present there were women's union officials and members in Pyongyang.

Hearing the stories reminding them of the proud history when the Korean women have grown up to be a powerful force that performs a part of the revolution under the loving care and trust of the peerlessly great men, the participants deeply felt boundless gratitude to the Workers' Party of Korea and the social system of the DPRK which add eternal brilliance to the dignity and life of the women.

They were deeply moved to watch the video showing devoted efforts of the women dedicating themselves to increased coal production together with their husbands with a resolve to repay the loving care of the benevolent father, who put forward the workers of the Chonsong Youth Coal Mine and unfolded a grand blueprint for transforming coal-mining villages across the country.

Many women have assisted the Korean People's Army, bearing in mind the immutable truth that happiness of each family and bright laughter of the rising generation are guaranteed by the powerful arms. Their beautiful deeds showed well the noble spiritual world of the women in the present era.
