Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from Droupadi Murmu, President of the Republic of India, on September 10.

The message said:

Excellency,

On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I extend my warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the occasion of your Foundation Day.

India and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea have traditionally enjoyed friendly and cordial relations.

I am confident that these bonds of friendship between our two countries will continue to grow in the future.

I convey my best wishes for Your Excellency's good health and for the well-being and prosperity of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
