Russian presidential press secretary Dmitri Peskov at a press conference on September 9 ridiculed Europe’s sanctions against Russia.

The Europeans are now in a very difficult condition, he said, adding that if they rely on sound thinking, Russian gas can be a cheaper alternative to European countries.

The current price of gas in Europe is not the highest and it will continue to rise in the future, he noted.
