The Western Area Sanatorium for Honoured Disabled Ex-soldiers has been wonderfully built.

The sanatorium covering a total floor space of over 10 000 square metres is located in a scenic area of Sinchon County, South Hwanghae Province. It has buildings of unique styles linked by outside corridors and is provided with various service conditions and environment for the convenience of disabled soldiers. The facilities include a water treatment place, exercise treatment room, barber shop and cinema room.

Present there were Kim Tu Won, minister of Public Health, An Myong Jun, chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee, officials concerned, officials and employees of the sanatorium, builders and working people in Sinchon County.

Jin Kum Song, minister of Labour, made an inauguration speech.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the sanatorium.
