A delegation of the Ministry of National Defence of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea led by Vice-Minister Ryo Chol Ung left Pyongyang on September 22 to visit the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The delegation was seen off at Pyongyang International Airport by members of the Ministry of National Defence, the Vietnamese ambassador to the DPRK and the defense attaché of the Vietnamese embassy.
