Russian FM: Special military operations will not stop even for a moment
September 28, 2026Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov clarified the stand not to stop the special military operations in Ukraine in a meeting of the UN Security Council on September 23.
He disclosed that European countries are demanding a ceasefire in order to replenish the depleted supply of ammunition in the armoury of the Kiev authorities, who are openly resorting to terror in despair, and to give them time to breathe.
If Europeans did not play a trick, they would have been able to maintain their dream-border of Ukraine’s in 1991, he noted.
But they could not suppress their instinct to tell lies and achieve their goal even by criminal methods, he said, stressing that Russia, drawing on its bitter experience, will not discontinue the special military operations even during any form of talks.
