Ro Kwang Ryol wins gold medals at Asian Games
September 30, 2026DPRK weightlifter Ro Kwang Ryol came first in the men's weightlifting of the 20th Asian Games.
On September 28, he lifted 165kg in snatch, 214kg in clean and jerk (new world, Asian and Asian Games records) and 379kg in total (new world, Asian and Asian Games records) to bag gold medals in the 85kg category.
In the meantime, Kim Hyon Suk came third in the women's 25m pistol shooting event.
