Exhibition of advanced science and technology and products opens
October 2, 2026The exhibition of advanced science and technology and products-2026 was opened.
The exhibition has brought together more than 530 units of various sectors including metallurgical, coal, electric power, chemical, machine-building, light and information industries and agriculture. Presented to it are more than 2 300 pieces of advanced sci-tech achievements which won high appreciation at the national sci-tech festival and exhibitions of sci-tech achievements in different fields.
During the exhibition, various sci-tech exchanges and dissemination will be conducted.
The opening ceremony took place at the Grand People's Study House in Pyongyang on September 29.
Present there were Kim Sung Du, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and officials and working people of the exhibitor units.
Jon Sung Guk, vice-premier of the Cabinet, made an opening address.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the exhibition hall.
