The Ryuwon Footwear Factory concentrates its effort on the development of new products.

“So far this year, the factory has developed and produced over a hundred kinds of trainers for men, women and children,” said Kim Jong Hwa, section chief of the Ryuwon Footwear Factory.

Designers of the design office brought out more than one new product design almost every day according to ages, kinds and seasons in careful consideration of the technological principles of products, while combining the formative and artistic beauty.

Accordingly, the factory confirmed the working methods at different production processes and pushed ahead with production.

Successes have been made in the development of trainers based on the non-sewing outer rim production method which enables the production of sports shoes in different shapes with higher quality while reducing the production costs.

The trainers for men and women which were made to look airy and lively with a strong colour contrast between the fore and rear parts so as to be appealing to young people and those for children whose outer rims are decorated with colourful emulsified ornaments to suit the juvenile psychology are popular among customers.

The trainers in the shape of leather shoes with distinctive outer rims are much sought after by not only young people but also the elderly.

These shoes have high serviceability and less kinetic burden as they were made in full consideration of the characteristics of force inflicted on feet according to age and gender. 

Besides, special sports shoes, including football boots, which have become much lighter and varied in kind, shape and colour are drawing the interest of experts.
