Ryongchon and Yomju counties are also working hard to gather crops in the right time.

Farms in South Hwanghae Province, the largest agricultural province in the country, are seething with the rice harvest.

The agricultural workers in Haeju City are endeavouring to finish the rice harvest in the right time despite the overlapping of several farming processes including the sowing of winter wheat and barley seeds.

Kangnyong County is speeding up work by setting a proper sequence of fields for harvest and allotting manpower and farm machines accordingly in a rational way.

Farms in Jaeryong County are registering good results in the rice harvest every day amid the brisk competition for overtaking the advanced units.

Other cities and counties in the province, including Anak, Sinchon and Yonan counties, are also speeding up the rice harvest while ensuring the full operation of farm machines.

South Hamgyong Province is directing big efforts to successfully conclude this year's farming.

Jongphyong and Hamju counties have cultivated paddy rice well to the last in order to increase the thousand-grain weight to the maximum while gathering harvest as soon as the crops ripen.

Kumya County, too, is harvesting rice in a qualitative way on the basis of its scientific plan for concentrating manpower and means on the rice harvest to the maximum.

Other regions are also directing efforts to rice harvesting and threshing of this year.
