Russian ambassador to DPRK hosts reception to mark anniversary of the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations
October 16, 2026Andrey Podelyshev, Russian ambassador to the DPRK, hosted a reception at the Taedonggang Diplomatic Club in Pyongyang on October 14 on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and the Russian Federation.
Invited to the reception were Kim Jong Gyu, vice-minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, and officials concerned.
On hand there were staff members of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang.
Speeches were made there.
Saying that victory is in store for the sacred common cause of the two countries for the building of powerful countries and welfare of the peoples, the speakers expressed belief that the DPRK-Russia alliance forged with blood would be immortal.
