The exhibition of intangible cultural heritage-2026 opened on the theme of "Protection, inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage".

On display at the exhibition are more than 140 elements of national and regional intangible cultural heritage presented by more than 90 units, including the Agricultural Commission, the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Light Industry.

Its opening ceremony took place at the Moranbong Youth Park in Pyongyang on October 15.

Present there were officials concerned and officials and researchers of the exhibitor units.

A speech was made at the ceremony.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the exhibition venue.

During the exhibition there will be a presentation of experience gained in protecting and developing intangible cultural heritage.
