Chinese FM rejects Japan’s territorial ambition against Russia
October 20, 2026A spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the territorial ambition of Japan against Russia at a press conference on October 14.
As to the fact that a delegation of Heilongjiang Province of China recently visited the southern Kurils of Russia, the Japanese foreign minister said that Japan can never tolerate activities of persons of a third country in the islands.
In this regard, the spokesman emphasized that the Chinese side consistently asserts that the gains of the victory in the World Anti-Fascist War should be respected and defended.
