Talks held between ministers of Education of DPRK and Russia
October 21, 2026Talks between Ri Yong Chol, minister of Education of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and Sergey Kravtsov, minister of Education of the Russian Federation, were held at the Pyongyang Assembly Hall on October 19.
Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Ri Chang Sik, vice-minister of Education, and officials concerned and from the Russian side were the members of the delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and Andrey Podelyshev, Russian ambassador to the DPRK.
At the talks, the successes and experience gained by the two countries in the field of education were shared and the issues of further boosting bilateral exchanges and cooperation were discussed.
The talks proceeded in a friendly atmosphere.
The Ministry of Education of the DPRK gave a reception to welcome the delegation of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation that evening.
