Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Song Ok, a woman living in neighbourhood unit 61 in Sansong-dong, Haeju City, South Hwanghae Province, on her 100th birthday.

Receiving the birthday spread amid the congratulations of officials of the Party and power organs in the city and neighbours, the centenarian expressed deep gratitude to the motherly Workers' Party of Korea for showing great love for an ordinary old woman.

She lived in the sorrow of a stateless nation before the liberation of Korea. So she took the lead in supporting the front during the Fatherland Liberation War with a resolve to repay the benevolence of the country which provided her with a genuine human life and brought her children up to work at important posts for socialist construction.
