Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a birthday spread to Kim Sun Ok, workteam leader of Breeding Management Workshop No. 1 at the Central Zoo, on her 80th birthday.

For over 60 years since her maidenhood, Kim Sun Ok has devoted all her wisdom and passion to ensuring the cultural and emotional life of working people, youth and children while rearing predators.

Giving field guidance at the Central Zoo, President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il praised her efforts and encouraged her to take good care of the beasts.

With a resolve to uphold the noble intentions of the President and the Chairman in practice, she made positive efforts to increase the number of the animals and train skilled workers. In those days she was awarded a watch bearing the august name of the President, a gold ring bearing the august name of the Chairman and the title of Merited Keeper.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw to it that the title of Labour Hero was conferred on her at the Fourth Conference of Cell Secretaries of the Workers' Party of Korea. He also visited the Central Zoo several times and had a meaningful photo taken with her, putting her on the glory of the times as she has devoted pure conscience as a true servant of the people in the same job for decades.
