National open table-tennis tournament to be held
October 29, 2026The 2026 National Open Table-Tennis Tournament will be held at the Table-Tennis Gymnasium on Chongchun Street in Pyongyang from November 8 to 13 under the sponsorship of the Table Tennis Association of the DPRK.
The tournament will bring together players and students of professional sports organizations (sports clubs and teams) and sports educational institutions (universities of physical education) and those qualified for experts and amateur table tennis players across the country.
Those with the careers at professional sports organizations and universities of physical education and those active in sports organizations belong to the professional category, and others to the amateur category.
The players will compete in the men's and women's singles of amateurs (under 45 years of age and above 46), and the men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles for groups of experts and amateurs.
