Young people in Pyongyang volunteer for socialist construction sectors
November 1, 2026Young men and women in Pyongyang Municipality volunteered to work on major fronts of socialist construction.
Those of Pyongyang University of Transport Technology vowed to work at the February 8 Jiktong Youth Coal Mine and other coal mines under the Kangdong Area Coal-mining Complex.
Those in Hyongjesan, Tongdaewon and Sadong districts asked their youth league organizations to send them to the road management stations in their areas.
A meeting was held on October 30 to congratulate the volunteers.
Present there were youth league officials and youth and students.
At the meeting the volunteers were awarded certificates of volunteering and a congratulatory address and resolution-making speeches were made.
Officials, youth and students gave pep talks to the volunteers leaving for the workplaces of creation and innovation, presenting bouquets to them.
