A spokesman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry on October 27 answered a question raised by a journalist in relation to the recent start of a photo show on the theme "For justice and peace of humanity" in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of the Tokyo trials at the UN headquarters.

Referring to the Tokyo trials as the historic ones in which peace tamed violence and justice overcame evil and as an important component of the post-war international order, the spokesman said that to recognize and accept it is a prerequisite for Japan to return to the international community after the war.

What they should keep watch on is the fact that now, 80 years since then, the Japanese right-wing forces are desperately denying and even embellishing the crimes of aggression while ignoring the historic conclusion of the Tokyo trials, he said, stressing that the international community should jointly reject the moves of Japan which is publicizing a wrong outlook on history and openly idolizing war criminals.
