Recently, Japan announced that the Air Self-Defence Force was called out to “respond” to foreign military planes in the period from April to September this year, claiming that the China-Russia joint patrol flights are a “military demonstration” targeting Japan.

In this regard, the spokesman for the Chinese defense ministry at a press conference on October 29 said that it was the same old trick of Japan, which plausibly publishes similar data at its own convenience in order to gloss over its mistakes, place the blame on others and mar China’s image.

He urged Tokyo to stop playing wilful tricks, creating tense atmospheres and playing them up.
