The motive force for national development is not a huge sum of money or wealth but the spiritual strength of the people who are inspired ideologically. Only when the people rise up as one, can the impossible be made possible and can all fields and sectors develop rapidly and sustainably.

That is why the Workers’ Party of Korea has constantly maintained the ideology-first principle in the revolution and construction.

In solving all problems, the Party enlists the spiritual strength of the masses of the people by giving precedence to ideological work, not the economy-is-almighty doctrine, the material-is-almighty doctrine and the technology-can-do-everything concept.
