LAS calls for international survey of Israeli outrages

November 8, 2026

The League of Arab States issued a statement on November 1 to call for conducting an international survey of Israel’s outrages against the Palestinian prisoners.

The statement disclosed that the Palestinian prisoners from the Gaza Strip, who are in a prison in Israel, are injured or burnt due to persistent oppression and maltreatment, and demanded their immediate release.

Such act of violence constitutes a breach of international humanitarian law and the perpetrator of it should be called to account as the perpetrator of an unethical crime, it noted, asserting that the international community and UN agencies should take a measure to protect prisoners and eliminate the assailants’ exemption from responsibility.

It has been disclosed that nearly 9 400 Palestinians have been in jail in Israel as of October 2026 and they have been subjected to tortures and organized violence using tear gas, chilli powder, rubber bullets, flash bomb, etc.
