Chinese Ministry of Commerce rejects UK’s sanctions move
November 6, 2025A spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce of China denounced the sanctions of the UK at a press conference on October 27.
He denounced the UK’s inclusion of eleven Chinese businesses in the new list of sanctions related to Russia as a unilateral act without any international legal ground.
He asserted that normal visits and cooperation between the Chinese and Russian businesses should not be hindered.
He noted that the Chinese government strongly demands the UK withdraw the sanctions against Chinese businesses and will firmly defend their just and legitimate rights and interests.
