Factory registers good production results
September 26, 2025The Ryonggang Building Stone Processing Factory has attained the peak year level unprecedented since its inauguration this year.
The secret of such success lies in having laid a firm foundation for increasing production by introducing a scientific production method that meets the reality.
After modernizing itself two years ago, the factory focused on raising the operation rate of the facilities which were installed in mining areas, whose capacities had been expanded.
As the facilities were the modern ones, whose performance had been improved as compared to the previous ones, their full operation just meant the increased production of rough stone, the preceding process in building stone production, and was a factor guaranteeing the smoothness of all related processes.
But after being used for some time, some elements of the facilities would automatically stop or their performance would drop.
The factory saw to it that the facilities were remodelled in the direction of raising their operation rate while preserving their original performance.
In the course of this, different technical plans, including those for making and installing a new portable compressor voltage sensor control device and motor protection device and remodelling the pistons and diesel purifiers of hydraulic excavators, were introduced to increase the rough stone production over 1.3 times more than previously.
In particular, the mining areas increased the daily rough stone productivity by introducing a new loading method using a 300-ton jack.
.And the factory effectively ran the sci-tech learning space to help all producers steadily improve their technical knowledge and skills so that they could properly operate machines in their charge, including rock drills, compressors and motor cutters, and inspired highly skilled workers to train newcomers, thus increasing the operating and utilization rate of production facilities.
The factory also channelled efforts into rational technical innovation for the precision processing of building stone products.
Technicians of the factory improved the performance of the 1 800-type medium building stone product processor to further improve the dimensional accuracy of the products and increase the operation rate of equipment 1.1 times, and newly made and installed a frame processor and newel processing machine and boosted their operation rate, thus trebling the productivity of primary flagstones, grindstones, stones for embossed carving and chipped stones.
And they doubled the serviceable life of diamond blade by introducing a method of lowering the abrasion rate of the blade and thus boosted the output of processed stones 1.2 times.
Besides, the factory successfully introduced various technical innovation plans for further improving the stability of equipment.
