April 17, 2024

Agricultural workers of the Ryonghung Farm in Thaechon County, North Phyongan Province, moved into new dwelling houses.

The villages, where modern single-storey, terraced houses and public buildings have been built cosily, are covered with trees and flowering shrubs of good species. The beautiful landscape of the villages clearly shows the changes in the socialist countryside that becomes civilized and modern day after day.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on April 14.

Ri Yong Chol, chairman of the North Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory speech.

Licenses for the use of houses were conveyed and speeches were made at the ceremony.

Peasants' music resounded throughout the farm villages and dance parties started, while agricultural workers moved into new houses.

Officials of the Workers’ Party of Korea and power organs visited the owners of the new houses and shared joy with them, offering them daily necessities.
