The Taehung Youth Hero Mine has set up a high-grade magnesia clinker production line and started production.

The new product reportedly conforms to the world standards in all quality indices including the content of silicic acid substance and case studies show that its introduction into steel furnaces and kilns has lengthened their life by far. 

It is the fruit of the painstaking efforts made by officials and working people of the mine to put into effect the line of making the national economy Juche-based of the Workers’ Party of Korea that they have broken fresh ground in the development of the fireproof materials industry by ridding themselves of the idea that high-grade magnesia clinker cannot be produced with locally available fuel.
