The Taean Dairy Farm has expanded the pasture area after putting the breeding of dairy cows on a scientific basis.

This year alone, the farm created 10 hectares of artificial pasture and put the herds of cattle out to pasture on a rotation basis. Barley malt is cultivated in a hydroponic greenhouse to tackle the feed shortage.

It also increased milk production and the fattening rate of cattle by feeding them with pulverized and fermented straw to improve digestibility.

Effective methods of disinfection are applied along with strict observation of the veterinary and anti-epizootic regulations to ensure clean environment.

A new advanced refrigeration facility has been set up to ensure the hygienic safety of dairy products.
