National conference of teachers to be held in Pyongyang
August 24, 2026The 15th National Conference of Teachers will be convened in Pyongyang early in September.
The conference will analyse and review the implementation of the policy of the Workers’ Party of Korea on bringing about a radical turn in education for the past seven years after the 14th conference and discuss the practical issues for bringing about fresh innovations in the educational work of the country as required by the times of comprehensive development.
It will mark an important milestone in remarkably enhancing the responsibility and role of teachers, career revolutionaries responsible for the future of the country, and improving the contents, methods, conditions and environment of education to an advanced level.
