A meeting of Koreans in Japan took place at the Central Hall of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) in Tokyo on April 13 in celebration the 112th anniversary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pak Ku Ho, first vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee and director of its Organization Department, Nam Sung U, vice-chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, Pae Jin Gu, vice-chairman and concurrently director general of the General Affairs Department of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, department directors of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, school inspectors, advisers, the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan and chairpersons of Chongryon headquarters in the Kanto area.

Pak Ku Ho in a congratulatory report said that the whole life of the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung who advanced the socialist cause along the ever-victorious road, enjoying the absolute support and trust of the masses of the people, was the noble life of the people's leader.

He praised Kim Il Sung as an outstanding leader of the Juche-oriented movement of Koreans in Japan who led Chongryon to victory and glory and the saviour and benevolent father who showed all manner of solicitude to Koreans in Japan, holding them in his loving embrace.

He said that the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un has sent a large sum of educational aid fund and stipends on the occasion of the significant April holiday every year so as to glorify the history of the loving care of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

He called on all the Chongryon officials and other compatriots to glorify forever generation after generation the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung's revolutionary life and the leadership exploits he performed for the movement of Koreans in Japan, and make substantial changes in the struggle to open up a new heyday of the movement according to the blueprint provided by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

A congratulatory letter to Kim Jong Un was read out at the meeting.
