Service personnel, working people, youth and schoolchildren visited the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il across the country to pay homage to them on the occasion of the significant founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.
Baskets of flowers were laid before the statues of the President and the Chairman on Mansu Hill in Pyongyang in the name of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national agencies, units of the Korean People's Army and the Public Security Forces and institutions, enterprises and factories at all levels in Pyongyang.
The visitors paid tribute to the great leaders at the statues, recollecting the noble revolutionary careers of the President and the Chairman who started the building of the Juche-based revolutionary armed forces and ushered in a golden age of bolstering up the military muscle.
Flower baskets in the name of units of the Korean People's Army and the Public Security Forces, institutions, enterprises and others and bouquets were laid at their statues in different places of Pyongyang including Kim Il Sung University, the Ministry of National Defence and the Ministry of Social Security.
