Wreaths laid at Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong

Service personnel of the armed forces organs visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong on April 25 to pay homage to the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs on the occasion of the 92th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Revolutionary Army.

Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Kang Sun Nam, minister of National Defence of the DPRK, Jong Kyong Thaek, director of the General Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army, and other commanding officers and men.

The guards of honour of the Korean People's Army were standing at the cemetery.

Amidst the playing of wreath-laying music, wreaths were placed reflecting the deep reverence of all the service personnel for the anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs who devoted their youth and lives to the sacred cause for independence and sovereignty of the country and happiness of the people.

The participants paid silent tribute to the memory of the anti-Japanese forerunners who had established the glorious tradition of the Korean revolution pioneered and victoriously advancing with arms under the leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and laid the eternal cornerstone of our powerful state.
