Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a congratulatory flower basket to Thongloun Sisoulith, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, on the occasion of the 47th anniversary of the founding of the LPDR.
The flower basket bearing the name of Kim Jong Un was conveyed to an official of the Foreign Ministry of Laos by the DPRK ambassador to the country.
The words written on the ribbon of the flower basket read: "Warm congratulations on the 47th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Democratic Republic."
