A men’s ice hockey match was held at the Ice Rink on December 27 in celebration of the significant Constitution Day of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Top-notch players of the Taesongsan Sports Club and the Pyongyang Railway Bureau Sports Club took part in the match.

Among the spectators were leading officials of the Party and the government, officials of ministries and national agencies, commanding officers of the armed forces organs, labour innovators and meritorious persons invited to the celebrations of the Constitution Day and the New Year, players and coaches who proved successful in this year’s international games, officials in the sports field, and Pyongyang citizens.

Prior to the match, there was a figure skating demonstration.

Then the men’s ice hockey match was held between the above-said two teams which are the country’s leading rivals in winter sports events.

The spectators enthusiastically cheered whenever the players displayed strenuous perseverance, quick actions, high skills and the spirit of close cooperation.

The Pyongyang Railway Bureau team won the match.
