DPRK players snatch golds in 2024 IWF World Cup
April 6, 2024The DPRK players are achieving successes day by day in the 2024 International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) World Cup.
On April 4, Ri Won Ju lifted 144kg in snatch and 189kg in jerk (new world record) and 333kg in total in the men’s 67kg category to win two gold medals in jerk and total and a silver in snatch.
That day, Kim Il Gyong bagged a gold in snatch and two silvers in jerk and total of the women’s 59kg category.
