DPRK players, who won the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup 2024, returned home on May 21.
They scored 24 goals in total, without conceding even a goal, in the tournament held in Indonesia from May 6 to 19.
They qualified for the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
They were warmly greeted by Kim Il Guk, minister of Physical Culture and Sports, officials in the sports sector, officials concerned, sportspersons and families at Pyongyang International Airport.
Sportspersons congratulated the players and coaches on their results, putting garlands around their necks and presenting bouquets to them.
Pyongyang citizens warmly congratulated them along the streets.
