Staff members of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang on June 12 laid a wreath at the Liberation Tower in Pyongyang on the occasion of the national day of Russia.
Present at the wreath-laying ceremony were Ambassador Alexandr Matsegora and members of his embassy and diplomatic envoys and military attaches of different countries in the DPRK.
A wreath in the name of the Russian embassy and others were placed at the Liberation Tower.
The participants paid a silent tribute to the memory of the fallen fighters of the Soviet Army and looked round the tower.
On the same day, staff members of the Russian embassy and diplomatic envoys and military attaches of different countries laid a wreath and flowers at the cemetery of fallen fighters of the Soviet Army in Sadong District of Pyongyang.
Meanwhile, staff members of the Russian consulate general in Chongjin laid bouquets at the Liberation Tower and cemetery of fallen fighters of the Soviet Army in Chongjin of North Hamgyong Province.
