Russian frigate Admiral Gorshkov waged a marine target striking drill in the western waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Russian Defence Ministry said on January 25 that the frigate trained the method of hitting a marine target located in a place about 900-odd kilometres away by using a hypersonic missile by way of simulated firing.

Its crew ensured the unity of action at a high level during their performance of mission.
